2023 Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Rose Aix

Tasting notes:

Made via both the saignee method and direct press, this rose has a delicate salmon pink colour. Aromas of strawberry, plum, rose petal and watermelon with notes of spicy anise. Crisp, elegant and generous on the palate with a tangy texture and a fresh aftertaste.

Producer description:

Maison Saint Aix is one of Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence’s largest and highest (420m above sea level) domaines. The vines enjoy cooler nights and a greater Mistral effect which concentrates the flavours of the grapes. Some of their vines are over 60-year-old which add character to their wines.
