17th July: Tasting Lunch - Introducing Marche Tenuta di Tavignano

Tenuta Tavignano is one of the most dynamic wineries of Marche, an area that stretches between the Apennine Mountains to the west and the Adriatic Sea to the east in Central Italy. The estate was founded in 1975 by Stefano Aymerich and is now in the capable hands of Ondine de la Feld.

Ondine has been pushing the boundaries of Verdicchio and produces some amazing and age-worthy whites which are starting to turn heads. The wines are all certified organic and really show the potential of the area. Alongside her stunning Verdicchios, Ondine also produces two delicious reds and a ‘pet nat’ (petillants naturel).

The lunch will take place in our charming garden rooms at Petersham Nurseries. Tariq Khan, our Private Sales Manager and ex Sommelier at The Fat Duck will take you through Tavignano’s fantastic wines which will be carefully paired with a delightful menu crafted by our executive chef.
