Camartina 2018

Querciabella

70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Sangiovese, Camartina was conceived as a Burgundian alternative to the Bordeaux-influenced Super Tuscans on the coast in Bolgheri. Grown on the hill of Ruffoli, in Greve in Chianti, the vines that produce Camartina are some of the highest in Tuscany around 600m above sea level. This altitude produces a refined, elegant, and truly Italian take on Cabernet Sauvignon, which has been drawn out over recent years by winemaker Manfred Ing’s meticulous attention to detail.
